Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is inviting applications from UG and PG Medical degrees to fill up 39 vacancies for Medical Officer and Medical Specialist posts. The vacancies are available under Durgapur Steel Plant. SAIL has released the detailed Advt. No. DSP/Pers/Rectt/2020-21/DR/1 at the website sail.co.in. Eligible and intending candidates can apply for the recruitment by filling up the application form in the prescribed proforma and sending it to [email protected] along with self-attested copies of supporting documents. DSP will accept the applications starting from December 09, 2020. The last date of submission of applications by email is January 09, 2021.
As per the detailed advertisement published at the SAIL website, the vacancies are available in the 600 bedded hospital of Durgapur Steel Plant, an unit of Sail in West Bengal. There are 25 openings for the post of Medical Officer (E-1) and 14 openings for the post of Medical Specialist (E-3). SAIL Recruitment 2020 For 39 Medical Officer/Specialist Official Advertisement
Candidates can apply for Medical Officer in the categories of GDMO, Dental and Occupational Health. While the other vacancies for Medical Specialist are available in categories including Hospital Administrator, Public Health, Plastic Surgeon, Blood Bank and other Specialties. Selected candidates will be placed in one year training followed by 1 year’s probation. Initially, Medical Officers will join at a basic pay of Rs 20600 per month and will be upgraded to the scale of Rs 24900-3%-50500. Medical Specialists will join at the basic pay of Rs 32900 per month in the scale of Rs 32900-3%-58000.
Candidates applying for the post of Medical Officer must have an MBBS/BDS/MBBS with DIH qualification. In addition, the upper age limit is fixed at 34 years. For the post of Medical Specialist, the upper age limit is fixed at 41 years. Applicants must have a relevant PG Degree/DNB, MBBS with PG Degree in MHA/MBA in Hospital or Health Care Management, MD qualification to apply for respective posts of Medical Specialist. For the post of Medical Specialist, candidates will be shortlisted for interview. However, those who apply for Medical Officer have to appear in Written Test/Computer Based Test in English as per schedule to be intimated later. Admit cards will be issued for appearing in such a selection test.
