Joint Recruitment Board, Tripura (JRBT) is inviting applications from Class 8 passed candidates to fill up huge vacancies in various state government departments. Advt. No. 02/2020 available at employment.tripura.gov.in indicated 2500 vacancies for MTS and Group D (Non-Technical) posts in Tripura. Eligible and intending candidates are invited to apply online at the aforementioned website. Candidates can apply online by paying a fee of Rs 200 (UR) till the last date i.e. February 11, 2021. Eligible applicants will be selected through a written test of 85 marks and interview of 15 marks.
As per the official advertisement (advt no, 02/2020) available at the aforementioned website, the vacancies are for the posts of Multi Tasking Staff and Group D (Non-Technical category) in various departments of the Tripura state government. In all there are 2500 vacancies available. Selected candidates will be appointed on a fixed-pay basis. Appointment of the selected candidates will be done at Cell-1 of revised Pay Level-1 of the Tripura State Pay Matrix, 2018. As per the pre-revised pay scale this is equivalent to PB-1 in the scale of Rs 4840 to Rs 13000 with a Grade Pay of Rs 1400.
JRBT RECRUITMENT 2020 FOR 2500 MTS & GROUP D STAFF OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION
Applicants must have passed Class VIII (8) final exam from a recognized School. Candidates belonging to SC/ST and PH categories can apply after passing Class V (5) from a recognized school. Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for this recruitment. In addition, certain age-related restrictions also apply.
All applicants must be at least 18 years old in order to apply for this recruitment. The maximum permissible age of applicants is 41 years. All applicants will be eligible for concession of 1 year in the upper age limit due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. In addition, candidates belonging to SC/ST, PH and Government servant categories will be allowed 5 years relaxation in the upper age limit.
It may be noted that as per the State Government Memorandum vide No.F.00(3)-GA(P&T)/2020 dated 05th November 2020, candidates who are among the 10,323 ad-hoc teachers discharged can also apply for this recruitment regardless of their age. Selection of the eligible applicants will be done at first through a written test of 85 marks.
There are two subjects in the written paper viz. English & General Studies (Class-V Standard) and General Knowledge & Current Affairs. For each subject, candidates will be allowed 2 hours to complete the test while the question paper will consist of both descriptive type and objective type (MCQ) questions. Intending candidates are advised to check the details exam pattern and syllabus, including marks distribution across sections in the detailed advertisement available at the website.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST category have to pay a fee of Rs 150 whole unreserved category candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 200.
