RRB Paramedical 2019: 7 Important Things to Know About CBT Tomorrow

RRB Paramedical CBT 2019

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will be conducting RRB Paramedical 2019 CBT from July 19 to 21, 2019. The examination will be held in online mode, across country to fill 1937 staff nurse, radiographer, pharmacist Grade III, ECG technician and more vacancies. The candidates who will be appearing for the examination, must know these 7 important points before appearing for the exam.

#1. RRB Paramedical admit card is an important document. Only after showing it, you will be allowed to take the exam. Along with the admit card, you also need to carry one passport size photograph and a valid id proof. It can be a voter id card, pan card, passport, employee id card (if a Govt. employee), aadhaar card, etc.

#2. Candidates who are traveling to exam city via train, and belong to SC / ST category, can download Travel Pass from the login. The pass is only available for those SC / ST candidates who mentioned the same in the application form, with the supporting document.

#3. The duration of RRB Paramedical 2019 is 90 minutes. However, candidates belonging to PwD category will get 120 minutes. Within this duration, the candidates have to attempt 100 questions of MCQ type. These questions will be asked from professional ability, general awareness, general arithmetic, intelligence and reasoning, and general science.

#4. The maximum question in the exam are asked from professional ability, 70 to be specific and from rest of the subjects 10 questions each will be asked. This section varies from post to post. The marking scheme of the examination is +1 mark for correct answer and 1/3 marks for incorrect answer.

#5. Indian Railway has already decided cut off for the exam. It is different for each category and as per it, the candidates belonging to UR and EWS category must secure more 40% marks in the exam. The cut off for candidates of OBC and SC category is 25% and the same for ST candidates is 25%.

#6. During the examination, the candidates cannot use calculators. Other than this, any other electronic gadget is also not allowed inside the exam hall.

#7. After the examination ends, RRB will release RRB Paramedical answer key and question paper. It will be released in the login and with it, RRB will also release response sheet. The candidates will be able to submit challenges against the answer key. After considering all the valid objections, the final answer key will be prepared and on the basis of it, result of RRB Paramedical 2019 will be announced.
