Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will start the login to check RRB NTPC exam date and city intimation from today, December 18, 2020. As per the notice released by RRB on December 17, 2020, the link to check the exam date and city intimation will be active 10 days prior to the start of the exams.
The downloading of the e-call letter will start 4 days prior to their respective exam date, which means from December 24, 2020. The 1st stage computer-based test will be held in phases. The first phase will be held from December 28, 2020, to January 13, 2021. Out of all the 1.26 crore registered candidates, approximately 23 lakh candidates will get exam dates in the first phase. The rest of the candidates which is approximately 1.03 crore candidates will get exam dates in the next phases.
To check the exam date and city candidates have to login with their registration number and password / date of birth. The candidates have to visit the websites of their regional RRBs to access the login.
Although the exam date and city are intimated to the candidates beforehand, the exam centre address and more details will be provided through the admit card only.
From today, when the login window opens all the registered candidates have to login and check whether or not their exam will be taken in phase 1. Those who do not have their exams in the first phase will get the message “Dear Candidate, You are not scheduled in the present phase. Please wait for the intimation from RRBs”.
All the SC / ST candidates will be issued the travel pass too which they can download from their login. This travel pass is to be carried while travelling via sleeper class for free of cost travelling.
RRB NTPC recruitment 2020 is for the UG and PG posts of Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) i.e. Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice and Station Master in various Zonal Railways and Production Units of Indian Railways.
There shall be two-stage Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Skill Test (Computer-based Aptitude Test for Station Master and Traffic Assistant, Typing Skill Test for Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist and Senior Time Keeper). Subsequently, there will be document verification and medical examination.
RRBs are also conducting the RRB Ministerial and Isolated Categories exam which will be ending today. The exam date of RRC Group D will be decided after the NTPC exams are over. It will be probably held in April 2021.
