As per the media reports, it has been circulated that RRB JE CBT Stage 1 exam will be conducted on May 27, 2019. However, until now there has been no official notice released by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). The RRB JE CBT 1 is scheduled to take place in April / May 2019. It is expected that the Board will soon release the exam date for Junior Engineer (JE) CBT 1.
The RRB JE Recruitment 2019 is going to be held across the nation. So, it will be held on multiple dates, session, and centers. Prior to the release of the admit card, the Ministry of Railways will release the exam date, session, and center. It will be released over the candidates’ login for which candidates have to enter user id and date of birth.
After that, the SC / ST travel pass and admit card will be released. Both the travel authority and call letter is released in online mode at the zonal websites of the RRB. It will be made available over login for which students registration number and date of birth. The admit card is issued to only those candidates whose application form is accepted by the RRB.
On the day of the exam, along with the RRB JE Admit Card, the students must also carry one valid identity proof like Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving license, passport, voter id, etc. and passport size photograph which was uploaded during the filling of application form. No candidate will be allowed to sit for the examination without the relevant documents. So, do not forget to carry the same on the exam day.
RRB CBT stage 1 exam will be 90 minutes. The total number of the question in CBT 1 is going to be 100 from the subjects like Mathematics, General Awareness, General Science, General Intelligence and Reasoning. The test will be conducted in 15 languages which are English, Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati, Punjabi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Konkani, Odiya, Assamese, Bengali, Manipuri, and Malayalam.
RRB JE Recruitment 2019 is open for 13487 vacancies. Out of which 12844 is for Junior Engineer (JE), 29 for JE (Information Technology), 227 for Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and 387 for Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA). The selection of the candidates is done on the basis of three stages, CBT 1, CBT 2 followed by the Document Verification. Candidates appointed for the post will be recruited on the pay scale of Level 06 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix. The initial salary will be Rs. 35400, plus other allowances.
