RRB Group D Last Date to Update Bank Details Extended; Know Fee Refund Process

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released a notice today in which the dates to update the bank details has been extended up to April 10, 2019. The reason for the last date extension is the majority of the candidates have not corrected their bank details. The facility is provided to the candidates so that they can get the application fee refund. The fee refund is done only to the candidates who have appeared for the CBT.

To get the Fee Refund for RRB Group D, go to any of the zonal websites of the RRB. Then, click on the appropriate link of the “Click here for correction of Bank Account details for the refund of Examination Fee” in the section of CEN 02/2018. Next, click on the “Account Detail Correction” Button. Now, choose the zone for which the candidate has filled the application form. Enter the registration number, date of birth and captcha. After that, click on the “Login” button. Lastly, enter the Bank account number, IFSC Code, Beneficiary Name, Bank Name, etc.

Candidates are only given one time opportunity to edit / update the bank details. So, students should make sure that they enter their details carefully. No modification fee is charged by the candidates to correct their details to get the fee refund. The refund of the application fee is done as per the category. candidates belonging to SC / ST / Ex-Serviceman / PWD / Female / Transgender / Minorities / Economically Backward Class will get the refund of Rs. 250.

The RRB Group D Recruitment process involves three stages which are, Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Document Verification (DV). The aspirants must be knowing that the PET result has been declared. The next round is Document Verification in which RRB check the eligibility claims of the candidate. Each day around 100 to 150 candidates will be called for the DV round. For each zonal railway, the process of Document Verification will last for about 3 to 4 weeks. Candidates qualifying the Document Verification will be called for the medical exam (next day).

RRB Group D Recruitment 2018 is open for 62907 posts like a helper, cook, assistant pointsman, keyman, gateman, porter, etc. Candidates appointed for the post will be recruited under 7th CPC pay matrix and get a pay of Rs. 18000 plus other allowances.

In 2019, the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has released 103769 vacancies for Group D. Candidates who were not able to take part in the RRB Group D Recruitment should not miss this chance. The RRC Group D application form 2019 can only be filled till April 12, 2019.
