The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will start issuing RRb Group D Admit Card on September 13, 2018. The Board will issue the RRB Group D Admit Card through online mode only at indianrailways.gov.in and official website of 16 RRBs. Recently, the exam conducting body started the facility by which the candidates were able to check their exam date, session, and center. Candidates can check their exam date and download admit card, 4 days before the date.
To download the Railway Group D admit card, the candidates need to visit the official website of the Board, then click on the link for the respective RRB for which the applicants have applied for. Next, the candidates need to use the RRB Group D Login and enter details such as User ID and Password. Submit the login credentials and your admit card will be available on the screen. Take its print out to bring the same on the day of the examination.
It is mandatory for the candidates to bring the printed copy of the RRB Admit Card on the day of the examination. Along with it, the examinees also need to carry their passport size photograph and a valid ID proof such as Voter ID Card, Aadhaar card, etc.
The Board has issued the travel pass authority to the SC/ST category candidates. Such students can download it from the Candidate Login at their respective RRB website. In order to avail the benefit of free travel authority (Second Class Railway Pass), such candidates need to carry the original SC/ST caste certificate and a valid id proof at the time of traveling.
The RRB will be conducting the Computer-based test from September 17, 2018, onwards. As per the newspaper reports, over 2.37 crore number of applicants shall be appearing for the RRB Group D CBT, it is not possible for the Board to conduct the test for such large number of candidates in a single day. Hence, the exam will be conducted in a long testing window starting from September till December 2018.
The complete details about the exam like the date of the test, shift, reporting time, address of the exam center, etc will be printed on the candidate’s Group D Admit Card. The candidates should report at the allotted test center as per the schedule given on their admit card.
The Computer-based test will be of total 90 minutes (120 minutes for eligible PWD candidates accompanied with scribe). There will be 100 MCQ type questions and the paper will be divided into 04 sections, namely, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness and Current Affairs.
