RRB Group D 2018 Call Letter Downloading Begins for 19 Oct Exam; Now Retrieve Registration Number Here

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued the Group D Call Letter 2018. The candidates whose exam is scheduled to be held on October 19, 2018, can download their admit card now. The Board will not send the hard copy of the Group D 2018 call letter through post. To download it, you need to visit the official RRBs regional website. The Board has notified that it will release separate e-call letter/ admit card, namely for RRB Group D 2018 Computer-based test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and for Documents Verification (DV) to candidates on the basis of them qualifying each level as and when.

As there are a total of 16 zones, the call letter for RRB Group D CBT is made available respectively on their respective websites. Candidates will be able to download the Railway Group D call letter 2018 only in an online mode. To download the call letter, visit the zone wise website. Once directed to the call letter page, enter the details such as User Id and Date of Birth. Click on the “Login” button to submit the details.  On submitting the login credentials, the call letter’

will be available on the screen. Download and take its print out to bring the same to the test center.

It is mandatory for all the candidates appearing for RRB Group D 2018 exam to carry the Valid Photo ID proof such as Voter Card / Aadhaar Card (in original or printout) / Driving License / Pan Card  / Passport  / College-University photo ID in original / ID as issued by the previous employer (only when the candidate is a Govt. employee), One color photograph as uploaded while filling the online application form, and the print out of the Group D 2018 call letter.

The RRB Group D call letter 2018 will have the details like Name of the candidate, Registration Number, Roll Number, Date of exam, venue, and shift of the exam, Candidate signature (to be signed inside the examination hall on the day of exam), Signature of the invigilator (to be filled inside the examination hall on the day of exam), etc.

One important point that a candidate should note is that they should preserve the Group D 2018 call letter as it shall be required in the later stages of the recruitment process. The Board shall not send any duplicate admit card, hence, to be on a safe side, the candidates should take at least 2-3 print out of the call letter and also download it on their device. 

It is important to note that the self-declaration section as to be present on RRB Group D call letter 2018 is to be left blank. This section is to be written, signed, and affixed with a candidate’s Left Thumb Impression (LTI) at the venue of the CBT in the presence of the Invigilator.

Those who will fall under the physically handicapped category will be given the provision to self-assign a scribe for the RRB Group D 2018 exam. The Board will be issuing out a separate e-admit card for the respective scribe as assigned personally by Visually Handicapped (VH) candidates, Cerebral Palsy affected candidates, and any such candidate falling under the physically handicapped category.  It will be mandatory for the self-assigned scribe to bring the printout first-hand copy of their issued RRB Group D Scribe call letter 2018. On the day of the examination, the call letter will have to be signed by the concerned candidate and his / her self-chosen scribe.

The recruitment process is being conducted to fill about 62,907 number of vacancies. The selection of candidates is done on the basis of their performance in the Computer-based test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Document Verification (DV).
