Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will announce RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam City and Date today, on January 09, 2019. The board will announce it at 11:00 am. Railway Board has released official notice regarding Loco Pilot and Assistant CBT 2 dates. The exam will begin from January 21 and will continue until January 23, 2019.
Indian Railway will announced RRB ALP CBT 2 exam date and city only for CBT 1 qualifying candidates. It will be release through login, on the official website of 21 RRBs. To check it, candidates need to open the official website of the selected RRB. Then, search the link for “CEN 01/2018 Exam Date and City“. Following it, a login will open and then the candidates will have to enter user id and password in the provided space. After login, the exam date, city, and session of the exam for the candidate will be displayed.
SC / ST candidates who submitted the caste certificate, will also be able to download travel authority (SC / ST pass). It will also be provided in the login and with the help of it, candidates will be able to travel to exam city for free (only via train).
It is important to note that the exam date and city or session for RRB ALP CBT 2 will not be changed once announced. RRB will not entertain any request to change or postpone it.
Today, candidates will only get to know in which city they will be appearing for RRB ALP CBT 2. However, the detailed address of the exam venue, along with shift timing, and other details will be informed through the admit card of RRB ALP CBT 2.
The admit card will be released 4 days before the examination. Hence, the issuance will begin from January 17, 2019. However, on 17th only those candidates will be able to download the hall ticket who have their exam on January 21. The candidates having exam on January 22 will be able to download RRB ALP CBT 2 admit card on January 18, and so on.
The Second stage CBT is of 2 hours and 30 Minutes. It is divided into two parts, Part A and Part B. The Part A consist of MCQ type questions from subjects Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering, General Awareness on Current Affairs.
Part B of Loco Pilot and Technician CBT 2 is of 60 minutes duration and there are 75 questions which a candidate need to solve. This part is qualifying in nature and shall have questions from the trade syllabus prescribed by the Director General of Employment & Training (DGET). To qualify in Part A, the candidates need to obtain at least 40% marks in UR category, 30% in case of OBC and SC category, 25% in ST category. There is a relaxation of 2% marks for PWD candidates.
