The Railway Protection Force (RPF) Recruitment notice will be released anytime soon. As per the official website of Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), the application form portal is under construction. Thus, it is expected that RPF Recruitment 2018 will be released soon in the coming days. The recruitment will be for the posts of Constable (male / female) in RPF/RPSF-2018 and for the post of Sub-Inspector (male / female) in RPF/RPSF-2018.
Indian Railways is recruiting for more than 1.5 lakh vacancies in the year 2018 for the posts like RRB ALP & Technicians, RRB Group D, Railways RPF. In the recent development, Piyush Goyal has stated that RRB RPF 2018 Recruitment notification will be out soon. He took over Twitter earlier this year to announce the vacancies in railway protection force. His tweet further revealed that there are 9,500 vacancies out of which 50% will be reserved for women candidates.
The official website is ready to host the application process soon. As of now, the notice reads the process is “under construction”. Thus, another recruitment drive by RRB will be starting soon.
The purpose of RPF is to look after the “security of railway property, passengers, etc. Basically, the issues of theft, human trafficking, trespassing, security, etc are looked after by the RPF.
One document which was mandatory for the Railway Recruitment this year is the Aadhaar Card. It has been made a mandatory document for all the railway recruitment. Candidates who do not possess it can apply for it now. Also, make sure that the details in your Aadhaar are correct and updated.
It is expected that RPF recruitment will include qualifying a written exam, following physical efficiency test and document verification round. The pay band last time was 5200-20200 and the Grade Pay was Rs. 2,000, plus usual allowances. Expectations are that it might increase this year.
Also, RRB makes some mandate eligibility criteria for the candidates each year, for this recruitment drive generally a candidate must have an Indian Citizenship, must have passed Matriculation (class 10th) / equivalent, and the applicant should be between the age group of 20 to 25 years. There are post wise eligibility criteria too.
To start with, as soon as the RRB official website starts the application process, candidates have to register first and then go ahead with the application process. Further, candidates who are interested in the recruitment drive of RRB RPF 2018 are expected to be well aware of the recruitment process. There are many stages of the recruitment process. The written exam will be held in offline mode and candidates will have to mark the answers in an OMR sheet. Although, it should be noted that all the Railway exams are being conducted in Computer Based Mode this year. Hence, there is a high possibility that the exam for RPF will also be held in online mode.
Candidates thus have to be in regular touch with the official website and know the syllabus for the written examination thoroughly. The topics that will be included in the examination are Arithmetic, General intelligence and reasoning, and General Awareness.
