The University of Mysore has announced the result for Internal Assessment (IA) marks. The IA marks have been announced for April/ May 2018 exams. The candidates can check their IA marks online at the official website of the Mysore University.
To check the IA marks, the candidates need to visit the official website of the University at uni-mysore.ac.in. Then on the homepage, search for Examination Tab. Under this tab, click on the link for “April/ May 2018 examination IA Marks“. To check the result, the candidates need to enter their Registration Number. Click on Show Marks to submit the details.
The IA result has been published for candidates for all streams who appeared for April/ May 2018 examinations.
The Mysore University was established on July 27, 1916, and is the sixth oldest in the country and the first in the state of Karnataka. It is the first university of the country to be established outside the limits of British India. The Mysore University has been ranked 36th in the India Rankings 2017, NIRF-MHRD, Government of India. However, it did not participated in the NIRF 2018 ranking.
It encompasses about 122 affiliated colleges and five constituent colleges (forming an aggregate of 53,000 students). In addition to this, the University has 37 PG departments, 08 specialized research and training centers, and 02 PG centers. In all together it offers together offer a total of about 55 regular academic programs to 3,500 students.
Mysore University is located in Mysuru, the cultural center of Karnataka. Mysuru was the capital of the Wadiyar dynasty and is a city of palaces, temples, and gardens. The main campus named “Manasagangotri”– the eternal flow of the mind – by the Poet-laureate „Kuvempu‟, the former Vice-Chancellor, and the first “Jnanapeetha” awardee is located on 739 acres of picturesque land containing a sprawling Kukkarahalli lake surrounded by verdurous trees extending to an area of 261 acres. In addition to the UOM main campus, there are three other campuses located in Tubinakere near Mandya, Hemagangotri near Hassan and at Chamarajanagara.
It offers admission in Graduate and Postgraduate degree, Diploma and Certificate and Ph.D. programmes in five faculties, namely. Arts, Humanities and Social Science, Commerce and Management, Education, Law, Science, and Technology.
