The Central Board of Secondary Education has made some changes in the CBSE Class 12 board exams 2019 on January 11, 2019. As per the circular released by CBSE, the exam dates of Informatic Practices/ Computer Science and Philosophy/ Entrepreneurship/ Human Rights and Gender Studies/ Theater Studies/ Library & Info Science. Initially, the board exam of Informatic Practices and Computer Science were scheduled on March 03, 2019. But now it will be conducted on April 02, 2019. Also, class 12 exams of Philosophy/ Entrepreneurship/ Human Rights and Gender Studies/ Theater Studies/ Library & Info Science which were about to be held on April 02, 2019 will now be conducted two days later i.e. on April 04, 2019.
The rest of the exams of class 12 will be conducted on the earlier specified dates. There are no other changes in CBSE 12th date sheet 2019.
However, the CBSE Board has not made any changes in CBSE 10th Date Sheet 2019. The exam schedule is the same as announced earlier.
The students can now take a sigh of relief as the CBSE board has provided the solution of their issues.
A few days earlier, a group of parents of class 12 students had written to Union Human Resource Development Prakash Javadekar. They requested MHRD to make some changes in the date sheet of class 12 as the exams of Economics, Informatics Practices, Psychology and Physical Education were scheduled on March 27, 28, 29, and on March 30, 2019, respectively. According to the parents, 50% of students who opt humanities n their course choose this combination of subjects. They also mentioned that this is unfair to those students because they did not have one day gap between these exams.
So, for the convenience of the students, the CBSE Board had taken this step and has changed the dates of the exams. Now, the students are having enough gap between these exams.
Last year also, the students had faced the same problem. The board exams of Psychology and Political Science were scheduled on the consecutive days. However, in spite of the difficulty, the CBSE Board did not change the exam dates. But this year, the board has considered the issues of the students and has revised the date sheet for class 12 students.
Apart from this, the students of class 12 had also requested to change the exam dates of Biology. The exam for Physics will be held on March 05, Chemistry on March 12, Biology on March 15 and Mathematics on March 18, 2019. So, the students are also concerned about these big exams. However, the board has not mentioned any changes in these exams yet.
The board exams of class 12 will be held from February 15 to April 04, 2019. The last date of exam has been exceeded one day. Earlier, the last date of the exams was April 03, 2019.
