The Rajasthan Eligibility Exam for Teachers or REET 2021 was successfully conducted by the Board of Secondary Examination, Rajasthan on September 26, 2021. REET 2021 is held for two levels: 1 and 2. The first level or Level 1 is for those teachers who intend to teach classes 1 to 5 while Level 2 is for the ones who want to teach classes 6 to 8. Soon after the conclusion of the examination, several coaching centres and subject experts have released the unofficial answer keys which the candidates can refer to for calculating a tentative score.
Candidates have claimed that the overall difficulty level of the examination was moderate. On the other hand, experts were of the opinion that the questions asked from teaching methods were quite easy just like the Sanskrit section. Institutes like Sankalp Coaching Ganganagar, Swami Vivekananda Study Centre, Testbook.com, Unacademy, GuruGyan Publication (Jaipur), etc. These institutes with the help of their subject experts have compiled the REET 2021 answer keys for both levels 1 and 2. The official REET website – reetbser21.com does not specify any date for releasing the official REET 2021 answer keys. However, as per previous trends, the answer key was supposed to release 08 days after the examination date, i.e. on October 04, 2021. Since this has not been the case for REET 2021, it is likely that the official REET 2021 answer keys will be available by this week of October 2021. This mere prediction is based on the fact that in 2018, the examination took place on March 11, 2018, while the official provisional answer key was released 08 days later, i.e. on March 19, 2018. Candidates are advised to wait for an official confirmation from the officials.
After the official answer keys for REET 2021 are released, candidates will be given a stipulated time to submit their feedback or objections. This year, nearly 16 lakh candidates have applied for the REET 2021 examination. Out of this, 95% of the candidates have appeared for the examination. REET 2021 was held across 4,019 centres across the state. The seriousness of the examination led to the shutting down of internet connectivity across the state on September 26, 2021.
