Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath inaugurated Mahant Avadyanath Government College Jungle Kauriya that was constructed with an overall cost of Rs 30.35 crore. Therein, he also unveiled the statue of Brahmalin Mahant Avadyanath and planted Rudraksha saplings on the college campus.
In his speech, the CM said that out of 460 students who are given admission in the college 273 students are girls. This is a positive sign as girl students are the root of a civilized society. He also encourages and lauded the efforts of Anganwadi and ASHA workers and the services provided by them during the pandemic

The Chief Minister also talked about the latest deployment in the police force and said that within 4 years, the state police has recruited 20 thousand women candidates who are working hand in hand to provide security to each female citizen through Mission Shakti.
The Chief Minister then persuaded the students to attend the state library along with their basic learnings. He also stressed the fact that soon a digital library would be inaugurated in Gorakhpur University. With the inauguration of AIIMS Gorakhpur, ITI in Ayush University, Mahayogi Vidyalaya, Sainik School, Campierganj in Gorakhpur, construction of two Inter Colleges, the city is going to become a hub of education and health soon.
The Chief Minister also claimed that UP is the number one state in implementing the central and state government schemes with around 44 major schemes being successfully operated in the state. He further added that Uttar Pradesh is now a safe state. The people of the state have to be made aware of the power that Uttar Pradesh has to be taken forward as the leading economy of the country.

Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma said that the state has 77 government degree colleges and 51 lakh students are studying in the institutes of the Higher Education Department in the state. The state education department has successfully started an anti-copying campaign and introduced a copy less examination with monitoring done via CCTV cameras.
The Deputy CM further said that a proposal has been drafted on the behest of CM, with the motto of designating Assistant Professor as Associate and Associate Professor. Mrs Neelima Katiyar and the Principal Secretary of Higher Education, Mr Subhash Chandra Sharma welcomed amongst the audience welcomes this suggestion. Sadar MP Shri Ravi Kishan Shukla and MLA Campierganj Shri Fateh Bahadur also addressed the public meeting.
