REET answer key 2021

Board of Secondary Examination, Rajasthan is going to release the REET 2021 answer key soon on the official website, reetbser21.com. The exam for Level 1 and 2, i.e. primary and upper primary level classes, both, was held on September 26, 2021. However, as of now, there is no official buzz regarding the official date of release of the REET answer key.

As per last year trend, the answer key for the REET exam for levels 1 and 2 was released 8 to 10 days after the exam was over. However, this year there is a delay in its release. Several coaching institutes and educators have released their version of the answer key on their websites and Youtube channels. Candidates can analyse the same to calculate their scores.

The REET answer key 2021 is usually released separately for both the levels i.e. levels 1 and 2. The answer key released by the concerned board is going to be helpful in marks calculations. For that, candidates have to simply add 1 mark for the correct answer and add them together to arrive at their probable score.

The board notifies the minimum qualifying marks for the REET exam for both levels in the official notification itself. According to it, the unreserved category candidates have to score at least 60% of the total marks i.e. 90 to qualify for the paper. Whereas, the qualifying marks for SC/ST/OBC category is 55% of the total marks. In a similar way, the minimum qualifying cut off marks for the wards of Ex-servicemen and PWD students is fixed at 50% and 45% respectively. Only those who score marks equivalent to the minimum cut off marks are considered to be successful in the examination.

Post qualification, the candidates are awarded a TET certificate that comes with lifetime validity. With this, they can apply for the Level 1 or 2 teacher vacancy in any school in the state.

As per reports, the REET exam 2021 was conducted in 4019 centres across Rajasthan and out of the total applicants around 95% of students actually appeared for the examination. The examination was held with proper precaution and security. The seriousness of the exam could be ascertained by the fact that this time the state government had ordered to shut down the internet services across the state.
