The organizing institute IIT Kharagpur will be releasing the final answer keys for JEE Advanced 2021 examination tomorrow, i.e. October 15, 2021. Along with the answer keys, the results for JEE Advanced 2021 are also set to be released tomorrow. The final answer keys will be published based on the feedback and comments received for the provisional answer keys. With this, the online registration for Architecture Aptitude Test or AAT will commence tomorrow and end at 5 PM of October 16, 2021.
Although the website, jeeadv.ac.in, does not specify the time for releasing the final answer keys, it is expected to be available at 10 AM. This speculation is based on the fact that the provisional answer keys were released at 10 AM on October 10, 2021. Once the JEE Advanced 2021 official answer keys are out, candidates can check and download the same from the official website. After downloading the answer keys, they can crosscheck the answers and also calculate the scores.
AAT 2021 is for the B. Arch programme that is available at IIT (BHU) Varanasi, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee only. Interested candidates who wish to join the B. Arch programme must pass the AAT. It must be noted that only those candidates who have qualified for JEE Advanced 2021 will be eligible to appear for AAT 2021. As per the official information brochure, AAT 2021 will be held on October 18, 2021, from 9 AM to 12 PM.
The test will comprise of one paper having a duration of 3 hours. The language of the AAT 2021 question paper will be English only. Candidates must carry their own drawing and colouring materials. In terms of syllabus, AAT 2021 will comprise freehand drawing, geometrical drawing, three-dimensional perception, imagination and aesthetic sensitivity and architectural awareness. However, no separate admit card will be issued for AAT 2021. The JEE Advanced 2021 admit card has to be produced at the examination hall to appear for AAT 2021. Candidates must also carry an original photo ID card.
The cut-off marks for passing AAT 2021 will be decided by the Joint Implementation Committee of JEE Advanced 2021. Those candidates who will secure marks above the cut-off will be considered pass in AAT 2021. However, there will neither be separate ranking nor cut-off for students of any category in the aptitude test. The results for AAT 2021 will be declared on October 22, 2021.
