Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan, Ajmer (RBSE) has released the model papers for Class 10 and Class 12 upcoming board exams. The RBSE board exam 2021 for classes 10 and 12 is expected to be conducted in March 2022. Owing to the State Assembly elections in March, the exams can be delayed till April. However, the pre-board exams will be conducted in early to mid January 2022. In this regard, the board has already released the detailed exam timetable for both classes on its official website.
The RBSE notified on the micro-blogging site, Twitter, through a post that it has made the model papers for the students of Classes 10 and 12. These model papers also include the detailed outline of the marking scheme as well as the question paper blueprint. The tweet further stated that the papers are available for download on the official website of RBSE at rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.

These model papers are a representation of how the actual question papers would turn out in the exam. It further details the answers and marking scheme. Any student can use this as a tool to determine what sort of answers is being expected by the examiner. Students can download the model papers by following the below-given steps:
Step 1: Head over to the official site of RBSE at rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in
Step 2: On the left-hand side of the homepage, in the sidebar, click on “Model Test Papers”
Step 3: On the next page, select the year and class for which the model papers are required
Step 4: Download the model test papers and go through it

In an unexpected development, the RBSE, along with classes 10 and 12, is considering conducting the exams for classes 5 and 8 as well. The board has, however, not released any official notification in this regard. For classes 10 and 12, in observance of the COVID pandemic, the exams are being conducted in two phases. It followed in the ways of CBSE and many other state boards including West Bengal and Telangana. For this phase, the RBSE has concluded the online application process on December 10. The date was extended as a few candidates could not submit the application on time.
