The Rashtriya Military school (RMS) will release the admit card for the CET exam tomorrow, on March 10, 2022, as per the latest notice released on their official website. The combined entrance test will be held on April 3, 2022. The CET will be conducted for the admission of students to classes VI and IX for the upcoming academic year 2022-2023. The students can download their admit cards from RMS official website rashtriyamilitaryschools.edu.in starting tomorrow.

Exam Pattern
The RMS CET is an objective exam for 200 marks for both VI and IX. The exam pattern for class VI will be based on subjects like General Knowledge, Mathematics, Intelligence Test and English of Class V. The paper will have an equal weightage of 50 marks among the four subjects. The minimum marks required for these subjects vary. Students need to secure 35% for English and 40% for General Knowledge, Mathematics, Intelligence to qualify the exam.
The class IX exam consists of two papers both carrying 100 marks each. Paper I will test the students on subjects such as English, Hindi and Social Science carrying 50, 20 and 30 marks respectively. Paper II consists of Mathematics and Science for 50 marks each. The students need to pass both papers separately to qualify for admission. The minimum qualifying marks for paper I and II is 50%.
Age Requirements
For admission to class IX, a candidate should not be less than 13 years and more than 15 years of age as of 31 March of the year of admission. Similarly, for admission to class VI, a candidate should not be less than 10 years and more than 12 years of age.
The students who qualify the CET exam are eligible to appear for the next stage which is the interview. The interview carries 20 marks for admission to class VI and 50 marks for class IX. The students who pass the interview are also required to pass the medical tests to secure a seat at the Rashtriya Military school. The medical tests are done at military hospitals chosen by the student at the time of filling the application form.
