A lot of media houses have been publishing reports regarding Rajasthan PHED recruitment for a long time. Now, the board has come out with an official announcement against all those reports. As per the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, it has been decided to commence the recruitment process for 1309 posts lying vacant in the technical cadre soon. Further reports suggest that the board has accepted the proposal put forth by the ministry and it has started its preparations for conducting the exams for at least 368 Junior Engineers.
A high-level meeting was concluded in Jaipur between PHED Ministers and RSSB a few days back. The participants of the meeting were Minster PHED, Mahesh Joshi, RSSB President Hari Prasad Sharma, and ACS Sudhansh Pant, PHED department. The agenda of the meeting was the vacant posts lying in the PHED department. As per Mahesh Joshi, PHED Minister, the ministry has sent a proposal of commencing the recruitment process for 1309 vacancies for 368 Junior Engineers and Technical Staff to the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board.
Although this proposal was put forth in July 2021 itself, even after 7 months no steps were taken by the board. However, now as the department is facing a shortage of staff on the field. Hence it is keen to begin the recruitment process soon and hire manpower soon for the incomplete projects lying with the board. In a bid to speed up the whole process, the ministry has made an appeal to the board’s president to complete the recruitment process at the earliest.
RSSB Board President Hari Prasad Sharma also commented on this whole matter and said that the board has accepted the proposal and preparation are in full swing to fill the vacant posts soon. With these comments, speculation is now rife that we might get to see the complete recruitment notification soon for the posts of Junior Engineer and Technical Posts.
As of now, no exam dates or educational qualification, or selection process has been communicated by the board. However, since the recruitment is for a technical post hence the basic academic qualification can be Diploma in Engineering or ITI. Other than this, as per different online sources, the selection process can have a written exam followed by a skill test and document verification. Candidates should note all of these are mere speculations and actual data will be released once the board releases the official notification. They are advised to keep a regular tab on the official website of RSSB for getting the latest updates regarding the recruitment process.
