RRB to Release Railway Recruitment 2019 Notice for 1.3 lakh Vacancies on 23 February

This is the year of Railway Recruitment. Indian Railway (IR) started one of the biggest recruitment drive in 2018 and is expected to fill over 4 lakh vacancies by 2020. So far, IR has already started recruitment for more than 1.5 lakh post and now according to the news paper reports, Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will soon release notification for 1.3 lakh more vacancies.

RRB will publish the notice for these recruitment after announcing RRB Group D Result 2018. The result is expected to be out by February 17, 2019, and the notification for 1.3 lakh vacancies will be published in the upcoming Employment News paper, which will be published on February 23, 2019. All the details about the vacancies, department, salary, recruitment process and more will be announced via it.

There is no official notice in which Indian Railway has confirmed Railway Recruitment 2019 for 1.3 lakh vacancies. All the details have been reported by news paper. Also, according to these reports, Indian Railway has a sanctioned strength of 15 lakh employees and currently only 12.2 lakh are filled. Hence, around 2.8 lakh posts are vacant and of these, recruitment for 1.5 vacancies is half way through.

The RRB Group D Recruitment for 62907 is one of the biggest ongoing recruitment. The CBT for this has been held between September 17 to December 17, 2019, and now more than 1.8 crore candidates are waiting for their result. The result will be announced on the zonal website of RRBs and nearly 1.2 lakh qualified candidates will be called for PET round. After PET, document verification will be done.

The stage 1 and 2 for RRB ALP / Technician Recruitment for 64371 post has been held. Candidates are now waiting for the second stage answer key, which was expected to be available on February 11 but will now release on February 14, 2019. After answer key, RRB will announce the RRB ALP result and Loco Pilot aspirants will be called for Aptitude Test. The step in ALP and Technician recruitment is also document verification.

Application process for RRB JE 2019 ended last month and it is expected that soon the application for correction window will open. RRB Junior Engineer Recruitment 2019 is open for 13487 JE, DMS, and CMA post. The CBT for JE is expected to be held in the month of April / May.

Other than these, Railway is also recruiting 1120 Sub-Inspector and 8619 Constables. The CBT for these has also been held and now the list of candidates shortlisted for PET is being announced. RPF Ancillary Recruitment 2019 is also 798 post is also in progress.
