The Jharkhand State Open School has released the JSOS date sheet 2019 on February 13, 2019. The date sheet is available for secondary and senior secondary standard candidates. Candidates can download the time table from the official website i.e. at jsos.ac.in. The exams for class 10 and 12 will begin from May 02, 2019.
The exams for class 10 students are beginning from May 02, 2019. The exams will be held for 25 days. The last date of the exams is February 27, 2019. The first and the last exams will be of Hindi and Accountancy respectively. The exams will be commenced at 11:00 am and will over at 2:00 pm.
For class 12 students, the Jharkhand Open School is conducting the exams from May 02 to May 23, 2019. Within 21 days, the exams will be finished. The first exam will be of Hindi while the last exam will be of Indian Culture & Heritage. The timing for class 12 exam is the same as class 10 i.e. from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Along with the theory exams, the JSOS has also released the exam dates for the practical exams. The practical exam dates for class 10 and 12 are the same. The practical exams for secondary and senior secondary students will be commenced from May 28, 2019. The timing has also been mentioned on the time table. The practical exams will be conducted from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. The board has scheduled the practical exams in the respective schools or the exam centres.
The candidates who are appearing for the open school exams must download the admit card. To do so, they can log on to jsos.ac.in. To download the admit card, the students need to submit the enrollment number and the sum of the specified numbers. It is mandatory for the candidates to carry the admit card at the time of going for the exams. If they will not have it then they will not be allowed to sit ion the exams.
The Jharkhand State Open School has specified that the exam dates (theory and practical) are final. There will be no change in the exam dates. Also, the practical exams will be conducted by distributing the students in small batches. So, for the practical exams, the students are advised to contact the concerned authority or the principal.
The Board has also mentioned the result declaration date. JSOS has specified that the result for class 10 and 12 students will be released after 4 weeks of the last date of the exams. So, it can be announced in the fourth week of April 2019. The candidates will be able to collect the mark sheet cum certificate and Migration cum transfer certificate from the respective centres/schools.
