The Railway Recruitment Board has released a notice for the Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No.RRC-01/2019 Level 1 Posts in which certain amendments are done in the selection process and application form.

RRB has now specified that in PET weight lifting, candidates have to lift a sandbag in weight lifting. Candidates are required to lift the sandbag around waist height or in any other manner till the finish point. While weight lifting, candidates are not supposed to put it down.

Another change which RRB has done is in the RRC Group D Application Form 2019, in which candidates can now write their roll number instead of the registration number if it is not available in the SSLC / Matriculation mark sheet and ITI / NAC certificate / mark sheet.

During the time of document verification, candidates should make sure that they bring the same certificate of which Registration Number or Roll Number is filled in the application form. It is mandatory for the aspirants to fill the application form in order to be part of the recruitment process. Candidates should meet the eligibility criteria and then proceed to fill the form.

RRC Group D Notice 2019

The selection of the candidates for the RRC Group 2019 recruitment process is done on the basis of three stages, Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) followed by the round of document verification. The RRC Group D 2019 CBT is scheduled to be held in September to October 2019. Candidates clearing the CBT round will be eligible for the PET in which one needs to perform physical tasks like running and weight lifting.

The number of candidates shortlisted for the PET round will be 3 times the number of vacancies. Male candidates have to run for 1000 meters in 4 Min and 15 Sec and lift 35 Kg of weight for 100 Meters. Female candidates also have to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 5 Min and 40 Sec and lift 20 Kg of weight for 100 meters. Candidates ware required to finish both the tasks in single attempt. For weight lifting, the aspirants will get 2 Min to complete the task. Also, one cannot put the weight down.

Candidates qualifying the PET will have to appear for the document verification. This round is conducted to check the eligibility and verification of the candidate that he/she is eligible for the post or not. Candidates have to make sure that they bring the relevant documents on the day of document verification at the allotted date, time and venue. On the day of document verification, candidates should bring original as well as two sets of self-attested photocopies of the documents in the prescribed format.
