The Bar Council of India (BCI) has released the answer key for the All India Bar Examination XIII i.e AIBE 2019. The answer key is available on the official website allindiabarexamination.com. Students can now cross-check their result from the AIBE 2019 answer key. BCI has released this final answer key after the objections in the answer key were rectified.
The Bar Council of India declared the result for AIBE 2019 on March 15, 2019. All the candidates who appeared for the AIBE 2019 exam can check the same through their roll number and date of birth.
Along with the AIBE XIII result 2019, the result of AIBE 12 of the candidates who could not appear at Cochin exam centre is also available on the official website.
According to the information updated on the official website, the monitoring committee has informed that 2 of the questions from the question paper of AIBE 2019 have been rejected. Rejecting 2 questions means that now the total marks of AIBE 2019 have changed to 98 instead of 100. In the notification released it has been mentioned that the passing criteria for the candidates have also been changed wrt the deduction in total marks.
AIBE 2019 Passing Marks Changed
The qualifying marks for AIBE 2019 were fixed at 40% for general and OBC category and 35% for SC/ST. However since the marking is done on 98 marks (Total), the candidates who have secured Gen and OBC candidates who have scored 39 marks and SC/ST candidates who have secured 34 marks are also declared “PASS”.
AIBE 2019 Rechecking instructions
Candidates who want to get their answer keys rechecked can submit their request along with the rechecking fee amount to BCI. Candidates can download the rechecking form from the official website. The fee for rechecking is Rs 200 payable through demand draft. The DD along with the rechecking form has to be sent to – Bar Council of India 21 Rouse Avenue Institutional Area ITO, Near Bal Bhawan New Delhi – 110002.
The rechecking request will be accepted only till March 31, 2019. After the candidates submit their rechecking form, the result will be informed to them within 7 days.
Want to check your answer sheets yourself?
Candidates who want to check their answer sheets themselves have to book a time slot and visit the Bar Council of India. Candidates will be informed about their slot after receiving the rechecking request form.
The students will not be given the xerox of the answer sheets or answer keys will be given to the candidates. However, they can download the answer key from the official website. Any rechecking request received after March 31, 2019, students will get rejected.
The All India Bar Examination was conducted on December 23, 2019, by BCI in pen and paper mode. Law graduates willing to practice law in India appeared for AIBE 2019. Students who will qualify in AIBE 2019 will get the “Certificate of Practice” from their state bar council after the availability notification.
