The major fiasco over whether the exams at Punjabi University will be held in the online or offline mode has ended. Officials of the university had decided to hold the exams offline after which students started demanding online exams. As per the latest updates available, the UG and PG semester exams will now be held in the blended mode to ensure a smooth process of conducting the exams. In March 2021, the university had adopted the same method of holding the examinations.
The examinations will now commence from December 15 in both online and offline or blended mode. Exams for both the UG and PG courses will be held for a duration of 04 hours which also includes the 02 hours of uploading the answer sheets. Reportedly, students will have to attempt 50% of the question paper this time. Punjabi University has further advised the department heads to depute nodal officers who will be addressing the queries of the students and also keep a track of the answer scripts submitted by the candidates.
Students will receive the hall tickets for the examination at the examination portal of the university’s website. Now, the important question is how the students will be able to check the mode of the examination they are appearing for.
