Panjab University to conduct PU MET 2022 on 23rd April, Registration open at met.puchd.ac.in – Details

Candidates can now apply for PU MET 2022 on the official website - met.puchd.ac.in.

Panjab University, Chandigarh has released the date sheet and other details of conducting the Management Entrance Test (MET) on its official website met.puchd.ac.in.The exam is scheduled to be conducted on April 23, 2022. The entrance examination is conducted to select candidates for various management courses offered under the university and the selection will be based on three rounds namely entrance test, group discussion, and personal interview. The entrance examination carries a weightage of 85% and will be the most important step in securing admission. 

The online admission form has been made available on the official website from today February 14, 2022. Candidates in the last year of their degree courses are also eligible to apply for the exam provided that they submit the result of the qualifying examination before August 14, 2022. The last date to generate login id and password will be on April 05, 2022.

Fee Details

Information such as photographs and signatures can be uploaded on the website till April 13 after successful deposition of fees. Candidates should pay a test fee of ₹2175 for registration whereas those from SC, ST or PwD have a relaxation of ₹1087. The filled application form should be sent to the registrar on or before 4 pm on April 20, 2022.  The roll number and other necessary details like the center of examination will be available to download on the official website on April 21, 2022.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus

The entrance examination is of a duration of 2 hours with Multiple choice questions and will include questions from General knowledge, English comprehension, Economics, and Business Environment Awareness, Data interpretation and Problem solving, Numerical Ability, Verbal Ability and Reasoning. The written test carries a weightage of 85% while the other two rounds carry 7.5% weightage each. The result of the written test will not be sent to the candidates. However, the shortlisted candidates will be notified about the same and should appear for the group discussion and personal interview to be held in the second week of May at the University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS). 

The result of MET is expected to be published on June 10, 2022 after which the candidates will be called for a counseling session and allotted seats to various MBA courses on the basis of their marks.
