PTU Date Sheet April 2018 is now available. On its examination website ptuexam.com, the university has uploaded the same with the title “Proposed Date sheet for Exam:Apr-18”. The exams will be held from April 25, 2018, to June 4, 2018. As the name suggests, it is right now a proposed time table and if the university decides to change any dates, then a final version will be published. Students should start preparing for exams as per this date sheet now, and keep checking ptuexam.com for newer dates.
As per the PTU Date Sheet April 2018, exam will be held in several sessions daily. For most streams, there will be two sessions namely morning session and evening session. The former will be from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, whereas the latter will be from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Wherever the exam timings shall be different, there morning sessions will have different timings of 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, 9:30 am to 3:30 pm and may continue next day. For them, evening session will mean 2 pm to 50 pm, 2 pm to 6 pm.

The date sheets also carry a note saying “If any Discrepancy found the same may be brought to the notice of the University through Email: [email protected] and [email protected]”. Students may take note of it and communicate concerns regarding PTU date sheet to concerned authorities.
With exams around the corner, preparations are in full swing. Students of all courses can utilize the remaining days to understand the syllabus properly, gather notes, and study well. An advice reiterated by teachers is to take care of the concepts and the rest will come by practice.
I. K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) was formerly named as Punjab Technical University (PTU). It was in the year 2013 that the name change happened under a Punjab cabiner decision. However, even now, students popularly call it as PTU only.
It is a state university located in Jalandhar. It is an old institution that established its roots in the year 1997. The university administrates 280 colleges. This includes 102 engineering colleges, 134 management schools, 30 pharamcy colleges, 7 architecture colleges, and 7 hotel management colleges. There are 33 regional centres of PTU / IKGPTU. Admissions to the university, referred to as PTU admission, are done on an annual basis.
