The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) will be conducting the Punjab State Eligibility Test or PSTET 2021 on December 24, 2021. Candidates who will be appearing for the test must note that the PSTET admit card 2021 has already been released on the official website – pstet.pseb.ac.in. This examination is conducted every year to ensure the eligibility of the candidates for teaching classes 1 to 8.
PSTET admit card 2021 has been released yesterday and the applicants can now access them using their registration number and password. Here are the detailed steps on how one can download the admit cards.
Step 1- Go to the official website of PSEB, i.e. pseb.ac.in
Step 2- On the left-hand side of the page, under the ‘Important Links’ category, click on ‘PSTET 2021’
Step 3- A new page will open where one has to click on the ‘Registered User’ option which falls under ‘Login/Register’
Step 4- Now, enter the registration number, password, and the displayed code
Step 5- Click on the ‘Login’ button
Step 6- Find the option for downloading the PSTET admit card 2021 and take a printout of the same.
It must be noted that there is also a link that reads ‘Download Admit card’ on pstet.pseb.ac.in. However, when one clicks on it, no new page opens. So, as per sources, it has been reported that the PSTET admit card can be downloaded via the ‘Registered User’ option that is available.
The admit card contains details such as the name of the candidate, roll number, date of birth, gender, guardian’s name, exam date, exam timings, photo and signature of the candidate, etc. In case of discrepancy, one must contact the concerned officials in no time.
The PSTET 2021 examination will follow an MCQ-type pattern in which every question will have four alternatives. Candidates will be provided an OMR sheet where they have to mark their answers. A total of 150 questions will be asked. For every question, there is 01 mark while there will be no negative marking in the exam. Importantly, there are two papers in the PSTET 2021 exam.
- Paper I is for those candidates who desire to teach from classes 1 to 5. This paper comprises Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I (Punjabi), Language-II (English), Mathematics and Environmental Issues.
- Paper II is for the ones who intend to teach the elementary stage, i.e. from class 6 to 8. In this paper, there will be questions from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I (Punjabi), Language-II (English), Mathematics and Science or Social Studies and Social Science.
