Prasar Bharati is India’s service broadcaster. The Prasar Bharati Secretariat, PPC wing has released notification for recruitment to 30 vacancies in the post of assistant section officer. The post is in level 7 of the pay band which is pay band 2 Rs 9,300 – Rs 34,800 plus grade pay of Rs 4,600 pre revised.
The vacancies will be filled on deputation basis.
Officers under central government and autonomous organizations following central government rules / norms / procedures / pay scales and holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department or autonomous organizations or having five years regular service in posts in pay band 1 Rs 5,200 – 20,200 plus grade pay Rs 2,400 in the parent cadre or department and possessing experience in personnel management and or administration can apply for this recruitment.
Moreover, age of applying officers should not have crossed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
Eligible and willing officers’ applications need to be forwarded in the annexure through proper channel to the Deputy Director (PBRB) Prasar Bharati Secretariat at the address mentioned in the notification, within 21 days of the date of publication of the vacancy circular in employment news.

Age limit for these posts is 21 to 50 years as on closing date of the advertisement. For them, there will be a written test and interview.
Processing fee for this advertisement, for the news editor and reader posts, has been notified as Rs 300 for general category, and Rs 225 for SC, ST, OBC. Applications will be accepted until January 10, 2020.
