Indian Army ASC Records recruitment 2020 notification released for LDC, MTS vacancies

Apply for the post of lower division clerk and multi tasking staff in an offline mode under ASC records south.

Indian Army ASC Records invites application for recruitment to the post of lower division clerk and multi tasking staff under civilian group C post. The posts and vacancies have been announced in the employment news vide notification number 1605/DR/56/LA (Civ). The eligible candidates shall submit the offline application form in a prescribed format with self attested certificate to ASC recrords south. The last date upto which one can send their application is within 21 days from the date of publication of official advertisement.

ASC records is recruiting for a total of 7 posts for lower division clerk and multi tasking staff. Out of which hiring will be done for 5 vacant seats of LDC and 2 seats for MTS.

In LDC posts, 4 seats are reserved for other backward class (OBC) and 1 for scheduled tribe (ST). And in the case of multi tasking staff the 2 vacancies are for general or unreserved category candidates.

The eligibility criteria prescribed contains the educational qualification and age limit specification. For the eligibility of LDC post, a candidate must have completed class 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board. Similarly for MTS post, 10th pass or equivalent pass candidates would be eligible to apply. And as per the criteria for LDC post, a candidate must possess an english typing speed of 35 WPM and hindi typing speed of 30 WPM.

To apply for LDC post, OBC candidates should be 18 to 28 years old, ST should be 18 to 30 years of age. Upper age limit is relaxed upto 13 years for PWD-OBC, and 15 years for PWD-ST. date for determine age limit will be last date of application form submission.

Whereas for MTS post, general candidates should be 18 to 25 years old.

Adhering to the eligibility criteria, one can submit their form in an offline mode in a prescribed proforma published by ASC records south. One can avail the form from the employment news paper. Candidates have to download the form and filled the form by providing details regarding personal details, educational qualifications, work experience, category and comunication details.

ASC south records has instructed the candidates to send the filled in application form along with the 2 attested photographs by a gazetted officer at the back side of photo and certificate to the address mentioned in the notice. The envelope sent should be superscribed as “application for the post of lower division clerk / multi tasking staff (peon).

For selection, candidates will be called for a common written test based upon the scrutiny of applications submitted to ASC records south. Exam will be conducted in multiple shifts. The paper will contain objective type of question for a total of 200 marks. The total duration of the paper will be 2 hours.

The final selection will be done based on the overall merit and selected candidates in LDC post will be hired on a pay scale of Rs. 19900 and for the post of MTS the same is Rs. 18000.
