Joint Entrance Council (Sanyukt Pravesh Pariksha Parishad, UP) has issued the JEECUP 2018 Admit Card on April 16, 2018. There are 831 Institutes in which candidates are offered admission through JEECUP 2018. And to appear in the examination admit card is mandatory. JEECUP provides two modes to download the admit card, through candidate login on the official website, or from the digilocker.
Targeted at the idea of paperless governance, DigiLocker is a platform for issuance and verification of documents & certificates in a digital way, thus eliminating the use of physical documents. Indian citizens who sign up for a DigiLocker account get a dedicated cloud storage space that is linked to their Aadhaar (UIDAI) number.
Using the digilocker for JEECUP Admit Card download is easy. This portal can be accessed from today to download the admit cards. Candidates just need to sign in into their digilocker accounts and from their digilocker dashboard, they will be able to access their admit cards under the “issued documents” section.
For the candidates who do not have their account in Digilocker, they can either create one or can visit the official website to download it. Although creating an account on digilocker can also be an option. It easy and moreover very useful. To create an account one can visit diogilocker website and follow the steps to get an account created.
The JEECUP 2018 exam is scheduled to be held on April 22, 2018. It is advisable that the candidates carry two coloured copy of their admit card during the examination day. One copy is to be handed over to the invigilators. Also, it is mandatory to carry a valid photo id proof for verification purposes. Anyone out of Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID Card, Driving License can be carried.
The examination will be held from at 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, for Group A (Engineering/Technology Diploma Courses). Whereas for the Group B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I and K1 to K8 (Other Courses), the exam timing will be from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
The important thing to be noted here is that the examination rooms will open 01 hours before the commencement of the exam. After 30 minutes of the commencement of the test, no candidate can enter the examination centre. There will be a carbon copy of the answer sheet which the candidate will be allowed to take home after the examination concludes.
