Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Chandigarh will conduct a computer based entrance test for DM, MCh, MHA admission 2020 on December 18, 2019. Medical aspirants wishing for admission to PGI Chandigarh may apply for admission at the earliest as the last date for registration and submission of online application form is November 30, 2019.
PGIMER opened registrations for the DM, M.Ch, MD (Hospital Administration) and House Job (Oral Health Sciences) courses for the January 2020 admission sessions on November 13, 2019. Those who apply now will be called for exam at different cities across the country on the scheduled date.
After the exam, result will be announced on December 23, 2019.
Application processing fee for DM, M.Ch course is Rs 1500 for all categories, except being exempt for PWBD category. The fee for MD (Hospital Administration) / House Job (Oral Health Sciences) is Rs 1500 for general, OBC, sponsored quota, and it is Rs 1200 for SC, ST. for PWBD again it is exempt. Mode of fee payment is through debit card, credit card, net banking.

After the results, counselling will be done at PGIMER Chandigarh on December 28, 2019.
The entrance exam for DM, M.Ch courses will be of 90 minutes. It will be held in 4 cities namely Chandigarh, Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata. The test will have 80 objective questions in english language.
Theory exam will have two parts namely part 1 general, and part 2 speciality. Each will be of 40 marks. First one will have questions from subject of post graduation, and the next one will have questions on speciality opted by candidates. There will be no negative marking in the first part, but there will be negative marking in the second. In part 2, more than one answer can be correct.
House job entrance exam will be held in Chandigarh only. There will be 100 mcqs in englsh language. One mark will be awarded for a correct answer, and 0.25 will be deducted for incorrect answers.
MD (Hospital Administration) exam will be held in Chandigarh, Kolkata, Bangalore, Delhi. It will have 80 mcqs. Theory paper will have two parts, wherein part 1 will be general, and part 2 will be speciality.

In the event of rejec tion of the application form, no correspondence/request for reconsideration will be entertained. Applicants are also advised to download and take a print of the Application form. They should retain a copy of Application form till the completion of Admission Process.”
