PGI Chandigarh Starts Correction Window for DM / M.Ch Application Form 2021

Candidates can access the PGIMER 2021 correction window on April 27 and 28, 2021 only to correct or update their photograph and signature.

NEET 2021 Application Form Released

Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh has begun the correction facility today April 27, 2021, from 9:00 am. This facility can be accessed on the official website pgimer.edu.in and shall be open till tomorrow, April 28, 2021, up to 11:55 pm. Moreover, the correction facility shall be applicable only to the limited field in the application form. Hence, they were advised to fill the application form with utmost care and patience during the registration process. Authorities are going to conduct the computer-based examination for DM/M.Ch courses on May 31, 2021.

The correction facility shall be available for a limited period i.e., April 27 and 28, 2021. Moreover, candidates can use this facility only to update their photograph and signature in the application form. All other information in the application form including personal details, qualification details and test centre details cannot be rectified.

PGIMER authorities have specified the format and dimensions in which the candidate must upload their photograph and signature. These documents must not appear blurry or unclear. Moreover, they must be uploaded in the “.jpg” format.

The uploaded photograph must include the candidates holding a placard containing the name and date of clicking the picture. A reference picture of the same is given in the PGIMER 2021 prospectus. Candidates must note that black & white or polaroid pictures shall not be accepted. They must keep all these instructions in mind while updating their photograph and signature during the correction window.

Candidates who wish to avail of the correction facility can do so on the official website pgimer.edu.in. On the homepage of the website, they must click on the “Correction/Edit Window for DM/M.Ch Courses- July 2021” link. Thereafter, they must click on the “Click here for Correction Window” option.

A new page shall open in which candidates have to click on the “login” option and enter the required credentials. These credentials include user/login ID, password, and security captcha. By logging in, candidates can access their application form and update their photograph or signature, as required.

PGIMER 2021 entrance exam is a computer-based test expected to be held on May 31, 2021. The exam is of 90 minutes duration and shall be conducted in 1 shift i.e., 9:00 am to 10:30 am. The exam is likely to be conducted across 8 cities in India. The question paper shall be displayed only in the English language and shall contain 80 multiple-choice questions.

The theory examination shall be divided into two parts – Part-I and Part-II. Part-I shall contain 40 MCQs based on the candidate’s postgraduate qualification. Each question shall contain 4 options out of which one option shall be the most appropriate answer. Part-II shall be based on the speciality for which the candidate has applied. Each question shall contain 5 options out of which one or more are the correct answers.
