Mumbai Parents to Send Demands to CBSE

As per the latest report, the parents whose children are studying under CBSE board are sending various demands to the board. The needs are related to the fees and some other activities of the board. A group of parents of Mumbai is demanding to fulfill their requirements such as to monitor the hike in the fees, to direct the schools to follow the parent-teacher ratio. Along with this, the parents have also mentioned the board should check if the schools are following the guidelines of the safety or not and CBSE board should also restrict the commercial activities done by schools.

The parents stated that since there is no office available of the Central Board of Secondary Education. So, they cannot protest in Mumbai. But the group, India Wide Parents Association’s Mumbai wing has sent the demands to the CBSE Board headquarter in New Delhi.

The parents have also mentioned that they have the similar problems as the parents of New Delhi have. So, a group of parents in New Delhi will protest there. So, the list of 17 requirements has been sent to New Delhi to those parents and they will submit it to the board on their behalf.

A member of the group said that the education department is having a little control on the affiliated schools. So, it is very difficult for the board to fulfill their requirements.

For the students of class 10 and 12, the CBSE Date Sheet 2019 is expected to be released either in December 2018 or in the second week of January 2019. By considering the circular released by the CBSE Board, this time the board will manage all the activities related to the board exams 15 days prior to the usual time. So, the students may get the time table within this month. Otherwise, if the CBSE Board will follow the past trends then the date sheet would be released in the second week of January 2019.

Last year, the CBSE Date Sheet was issued on January 10, 2018. This year, the trend be get repeated.

According to a circular released by the board, the exams will be held after February 15, 2019. But until the date sheet will be published, the exact exam dates cannot be predicted.

CBSE Board will first conduct the exams for the vocational subjects then the core subjects’ exams will be held. The dates for the practical exams will be decided by taking care of JEE Main 2019 January exams. As per the news, the JEE Main 2019 will be held from January 08 to January 12, 2019. So, the candidates’ practical exams of class 12 students are expected not to clash with the JEE exam dates.
