Board of Secondary Education Odisha has concluded the OSSTET Answer key 2021 on September 01, 2021. The candidates who have appeared for the examination can check out the unofficial answers keys compiled by top youtube channels for a complete idea of the performance and scores. As of now, there is no official announcement regarding the dates of the answer key by the board.
Top youtube channels like Gurukul for competitive exams, SIR Odia, Its study time etc have compiled the OSSTET answer key on the basis of student’s feedback. The expert faculties of these coaching institutes have released the unofficial answer key for each subject relevant in the examination. The candidates willing to check the answer keys can visit the youtube channels compiled by these institutes.
Although, these unofficial answer keys of OSSTET are helpful in calculating the marks scored in the exam. However, the candidates should wait for the official answer keys to get a real-time idea of the marks scored by them in the exam.
OSSTET is a 2 hours 30 minutes duration paper conducted in offline mode. There will be 2 papers with four sections in the examination. Amongst the four sections, Odia will be a compulsory language paper for Language 1 while English will be the compulsory language paper for Language paper 2. Section 3 will have questions in English from the chosen subjects i.e. TGT(Arts) or TGT (science) and section 4 is going to have questions from Child Development, Pedagogy, School Management and Evaluation. As per the marking scheme, candidates will get 1 mark for correct answers while there is no provision of negative marking.
As per the official brochure, the unreserved category candidates need to score at least 60% marks in each section to qualify for the exam. While minimum qualifying marks equivalent to 50% marks in each paper is mandatory for SC/ST/PH/SEBC candidates.
Board of Secondary Education, Odisha conducts the OSSTET(Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test) exam to provide the Teacher Eligibility Test certificate to the eligible candidates. The examination is conducted yearly and candidates who qualify for the exam stand a chance to apply for the job of teachers in government and private schools. The board conducts exams to provide eligibility certificates in three streams mainly, TGT (Arts), TGT (Science), TGT (CBZ). The OSSTET certificate remains valid until the candidate crosses the upper age limit prescribed by the state government.
