Board of Secondary Education, Odisha (BSEO) is going to end the OSSTET 2021 second phase application process today, January 04, 2022. Candidates who possess the basic eligibility can apply for the examination only on the official website, bseodisha.ac.in. The board had re-opened the registration for OSSTET 2nd phase from December 23, 2021.
Other than this, the board has also decided to reduce the minimum qualifying marks for the General category from 60% to 45% and for the other categories from 50% to 35%. The exact OSSTET 2021 exam date shall be announced in the upcoming days. The basic eligibility for applying to OSSTET 2021 exam is passing the HSC exam with 50% marks and having the knowledge of reading and writing in the Odia language.
OSSTET 2021 examination is going to be held in the offline mode and 150 questions shall be asked from different subjects. The examination is going to be held in two languages i.e. English and Odia and 2 hours and 30 minutes will be assigned to complete the test. As per the exam pattern, the prescribed marking scheme is adding 1 mark for each correct answer and leaving incorrect answers. Paper 1 of the OSSTET exam is going to be held for Trained Graduate Teachers and paper 2 is going to be held for Physical Education Teachers.
Candidates who successfully qualify the OSSTET 2021 exam are awarded the TET certificate by BSE, Odisha thus making them eligible to work as a teacher in any renowned government or private school.

Step 1: Visit the official website of BSEO, bseodisha.ac.in and fill the registration form available on the homepage
Step 2: Post this, log in with user id and password to fill the OSSTET application form
Step 3: Next, enter personal details, educational qualifications, and other details as asked
Step 4: Upload the relevant documents in the prescribed limit on the next page and move to the payment section
Step 5: Pay the prescribed application fee via any online payment channel and in the end take a printout of the confirmation letter for future reference
The prescribed application fee for General category candidates is INR 500 whereas the same is INR 300 for the SC/ST/Physically handicapped category.
