Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) Limited has released an official notification for the recruitment of eligible candidates for the vacant posts of GDMO and Medical Officer. As per the notification, ONGC has announced a total of 04 vacancies. The online applications for ONGC Recruitment are invited before January 08, 2021. This recruitment is available on a contractual basis. The first post of Contract Medical Officer – General Duty for which 02 vacancies are out. Similarly, 02 vacancies are advertised for Contract Medical Officer – Homoeopathy. Aspirants shortlisted for the GDMO post get the monthly salary of Rs. 72,000/- and Medical Officer receives Rs. 31,400/-.
To shortlist candidates, ONGC will be conducting interview in-person/ interview through online method. Those who qualify the interview will be recruited for the advertised post on contract basis till June 30, 2022.

So, interested candidates can check the eligibility criteria for ONGC recruitment. To apply for GDMO post, candidates must have Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Those who wish to apply for Medical Officer must have Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS). Also, there is no age limit for the ONGC Medical Officer and GDMO Recruitment.

Along with the form, aspirants also have to submit some documents to complete the application procedure. They have to submit – scanned copy of photo identity proof, passport size photograph, 10th certificate, MBBS certificate, internship completion certificate, valid registration certificate, consolidated mark sheet of MBBS/ BHMS degree, SC/ST/OBC Caste Certificate, PWD certificate Proof of higher qualification, valid proof of a change of name, experience certificate and no objection certificate.
In case, a large number of candidates apply for ONGC recruitment then the conducting body will shortlist candidates for eligibility criteria. Around 70% weightage is given to the marks obtained by candidates in the MBBS/ BHMS. Out of this, a relevant degree in MD/ MS degree carries 15 marks and M.Ch/ DM degree carries 15 marks. Then the interview is conducted for 30 marks. Once the selection process is over, the final list of candidates will be out on the official website.
