Today is the date when National Testing Agency (NTA) is supposed to release the UGC NET Dec 2019, and CSIR NET Dec 2019 admit cards. The time at which the admit card download will begin, and the website, are the two most important things for applicants of the exams to know.
To start with, the time. NTA has as such no fixed time for admit card releases. However here it will be pertinent for candidates to know last exam’s events – In the last exam, that is UGC NET June exam, NTA was supposed to release the admit card on May 15. However without providing any reasons, the event was postponed to May 27, that is bey 13 days. Then on the next scheduled date, the admit card did not release. In fact it released in early morning hours of May 28.
As far as CSIR NET is concerned, then NTA is actually conducting the exam for the first time. Until June session, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research used to organize it.
There is no reason as of now to expect that admit card to be delayed. Hence for all intents and purposes the date for both UGC NET Dec 2019 admit card, and CSIR NET Dec 2019 admit card is today. And the expected time is by evening.
In all the variables surrounding the exam, the one constant is the official website.
Official websites where the admit cards will release are confirmed. For UGC NET, the website to download admit card is ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Whereas for CSIR NET it is csirnet.nta.nic.in.
Also, what is confirmed is the process of downloading the exam hall tickets. For both the exams, candidates will first have to go to the official website. There they will see links to download admit card, there may be one or more depending upon how many servers NTA will want to run the process at.
Clicking the links will lead to login pages. There, candidates will be able to login with application number and either password or date of birth. Facility to get password or application number will also be there on the login page.
Upon logging in, candidates will get the admit card download option. From there on, it is a matter of few clicks to download, save as pdf, and then print the call letter.
University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) is scheduled to be held from December 2 to 6, 2019. It will be a 3 hours long exam with paper 1 and paper 2.
Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research and University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (Joint CSIR UGC NET) will be conducted on a single date, December 15, 2019. It will also be a 3 hours exam.
Whereas date for issuance of answer key after the exam are not yet available, NTA confirms that results for both shall be announced by December 31, 2019. While UGC NET is the test for fellowship and eligibility for humanities and social sciences subjects, the CSIR NET will do the same for science subjects.
