National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the answer key for Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) over its official website, ntagpat.nic.in. Along with the official GPAT answer keys, a candidate can also download the question paper and response sheet. GPAT 2019 was conducted on January 28, 2019, in online mode for 3 hours. As per the statistics, over 42,000 candidates had appeared for this exam, which was conducted across 84 Indian cities.
Candidates can download their GPAT 2019 Answer Key by either entering their Application Number and Password or can do so by entering Application Number and Date of Birth. Candidates can estimate their scores with the help of the GPAT 2019 Answer key, marking scheme and response sheet. But to know their exact scores, he/she is required to wait for the GPAT 2019 Result Declaration date. GPAT 2019 Result is said to be announced on February 08, 2019 over ntagpat.nic.in. NTA will also be releasing the percentile scores, on the basis of the number of candidates appearing for GPAT 2019.
To download GPAT 2019 Question Paper and Response Sheet, candidates are required to first visit the official website and then click on the link flashing as “Display Question Paper and Response Sheet”. Candidates can attain their response sheet by either entering Application Number and Password or by entering Application Number and Date of Birth.
In order to calculate the score of GPAT 2019, One by one start checking your responses against the correct response and then put a tick mark in case of a correct response and put a cross mark in case of wrong responses. For every correct response, give yourself +4 marks and for the wrong answer, deduct -1 mark. As the last step, sum up the correct answers and wrong answers as per the 125 responses that you had attempted.
Candidates can also challenge the GPAT 2019 Answer Key by clicking on the link flashing as “Challenges regarding Answer Key”. Then, they are required to enter their login credentials. After entering the details, candidates will see the options for which they have to raise the objection. Candidates need to pay an amount of Rs. 1000 per question and a document of proof.
Earlier, GPAT was conducted by All India Council for Technical Education( AICTE) for M.Pharm admission across various institutes/colleges. But this year onward, this role has been taken over by the National Testing Agency, which started its online registration on November 1, 2018, and issued admit cards to the eligible candidates on January 7, 2019, onward over its official website.
Since the year 2013, GPAT is conducted for in online, computer-based mode for a duration of 3 hours. This year has been the year of NTA! With taking over the role of AICTE/other conducting bodies, National Testing Agency is moving ahead fulfilling its mission to impart “equity and quality in education by administering research-based valid, reliable, efficient, transparent, fair and international level assessments.” Established in 2017, it currently is responsible for conducting national level exams like JEE (Main), NEET – UG, CMAT, and UGC-NET(other than GPAT).
