The base of Petition on Cut Off marks
After conducting the written examination on January 06, 2019, on next day, when Board has released the cut off marks notice that causes the hindrance on the result. As per the notice, the cut off marks decided by the board is 65% for General category candidate and 60% for reserved category candidate. And there was no information about the cut-off marks or qualifying marks in the advertisement when the recruitment was started.
As per the petition, On May 21, 2018, when the same recruitment was held for the 68500 vacancies, the Board decided 33% marks for General and OBC candidates, and 30% marks were mandatory to be obtained by reserved category. The petition writer used this order as the base. Now sudden increase on cut off marks is said as the own accord of exam controlling authority and negligence of the law, by petition writers.
After discussion in premises, Court found this matter considerable and complicated and ordered to present this along with other considerable petitions. And the result stayed till March 19, 2019, and passes the stay order to the recruitment process until the next hearing.
The answer key for the examination has been released on January 08, 2019. The only obstacle is cut off marks decision which is delaying the result. However, as per the initial plan of recruitment the result was supposed to release on January 22, 2019.
