Today i.e. January 05, 2019, at 09 pm, National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the result of UGC NET Dec 2018. The result has been announced at ntanet.nic.in for the examination conducted on December 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 2018. The candidates who have appeared in the exam can check the result now.
NTA has declared the result through login. The candidates have to enter the login credentials which are application number and date of birth. The UGC NET result announced 05 days earlier. Previously NTA decided to announce the result on January 10, 2019.

On December 29, 2018, the Agency displayed the answer key on its official website. Along with it, the objection to answer key also invited until January 01, 2019. The candidates had to submit Rs. 1000/- to object an answer. NTA has opened the candidate’s response on question paper and window to view the question paper was opened on December 25, 2018. For each subject the answer key was released separately.
NTA conducted the UGC NET Exam nationwide for five days, on two shifts per day across 235 cities. For smooth conduction of exam the, NTA, has appointed 742 Observers, 295 CityCoordinators and 24 State Coordinators. The exam conducted in 235 cities in the country, for 85 subjects.

As per the stastistics, shared by the NTA, this time total 9,56,837 candidates have registered for the exam, in which 6,81,930 appeared for the examination. Now 44,001 candidates have been qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor, and total 3883 have qualified for JRF & eligible for Assistant Professor both.
Only 6% of total candidates appeared in both papers of UGC NET and obtain minimum qualifying marks in aggregate of both the papers, are declared as qualified in UGC NET December 2018 exam.
This is the first time when NTA conducted the UGC NET. Now this year onwards it will conduct the UGC NET twice a year. The candidates who qualify the UGC NET examination those get the eligibility certificate of university-level lecturership and Junior reacher fellowship.
