The National Law University, Delhi is going to start with the registration process for the All India Law Entrance Test or AILET 2022 from today. This entrance examination will be conducted for admission to BA LLB (Hons), LLM and PhD programmes that are offered by the university. Interested candidates can start applying online via the official website nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
Before starting with the AILET 2022 application process, candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria for the required programme. After that, they can complete the registration by referring to the steps given below.
Step 1- Go to the official website of AILET 2022 at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in
Step 2- Click on ‘New Registration’ after which the candidate has to select the course, specify name, mobile number and email ID
Step 3- Enter the One Time Password (OTP) in the provided space
Step 4- Specify the captcha and select the declaration checkbox
Step 5- The candidate’s application number will be generated which must be noted down
Step 6- Now, click on the ‘Go to Application Form’ button and enter all personal details, centre choice, contact details, family details and academic qualification
Step 7- Upload a recent passport-sized coloured photograph and signature
Step 8- Select the declaration checkbox, enter captcha and proceed to the payment gateway
Step 9- Pay the required application fee and complete the application process.
It must be noted that these steps for filling the AILET 2022 application form are based on the process that was followed last year. The application fee for Unreserved (UR) category candidates is Rs 3050 while that for the SC, ST and PwD category ones is Rs 1050.

This time, the examination will be conducted across 24 cities. These cities are Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam.

AILET 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Since the entrance examination is conducted for three courses, the eligibility criteria are different for all of them. Take a look at the requisite conditions below.
- BA LLB (Hons) – The candidate must have passed senior secondary school examination (10+2) or equivalent with at least 45% marks. However, the ones who will be appearing for the 12th standard exams in 2022 can also apply.
- LLM – Applicants for LLM must have an LLB or equivalent law degree with 50% marks. Candidates who will be appearing for final LLB examination in 2022 can also apply.
- Ph.D – The applying candidates should have an LLM or equivalent law degree with 55% marks.
