NIOS Revises Class 10 and 12 Date Sheet April 2019; Hall Tickets to be Released Soon

On March 11, 2019, the National Institute of Open Schooling has revised the date sheet for class 10 and 12 students. The Open School has issued the new date sheet online at nios.ac.in. The exams for class 10 are beginning from April 03 while for class 12, the board is conducting the exams from April 02, 2019. The exam dates for both classes, i.e. secondary and senior secondary have been modified from April 11, 2019. The exam dates till April 10, 2019, are the same as given on the previous date sheet.

The changes in the exam dates have been done on Monday after the Election Commission of India announced the General Election Poll dates on Sunday. Regarding the changes in the exam dates,  the Chairman of NIOS Mr. Chandra Bhusan Sharma said that the board has modified only those exam dates which were clashing with the poll dates. The rest of the date sheet is the same.

Around 3.75 lakh students of class 10 and 12 are appearing for the board exams of NIOS open school across the country.

The candidates can download the NIOS Date Sheet 2019 from the official website. On the homepage, the tab “Examination/ Result” is available. Click on the tab and then a new page will appear. On that page, there are various links available for different notices. Now, hit the link of “Revised NIOS Date Sheet March 2019 for Secondary and Senior Secondary”. The time table is present in the pdf format.

The exams of class 10 are beginning from April 03, 2019 and are ending on May 04, 2019. The first and the last exams are of Employability Skills and Business Studies/ Bhartiya Darshan. The exams will be held from 2:30 pm.

For class 12, the board is conducting the examinations from April 02, 2019. The first exam is for Sanskrit while the last exam is for Computer Science/ Environmental Science/ Sociology/ Bharatiya Darshan. The exams will be finished on May 04, 2019. The timings for class 12 exams are the same as class 10.

The practical exams for the secondary and senior secondary standards will be held from March 16 to March 30, 2019. Students will be given three slots for the practical examinations. For more information about the practical exams, the students are advised to contact the concerned authorities.

For the candidates, the NIOS Hall Ticket 2019 will be issued very soon. The students will get the link of the hall ticket online on the official website i.e. at nios.ac.in. In order to download the admit card, the students will be required to submit the correct roll number. The admit card will be available in the pdf format. It is mandatory for the candidates to carry the hall ticket at the time of going for the exams.
