The National Institute of Open Schooling is releasing the NIOS Class 10, 12 Result 2018 for the October session very soon. In the previous year, the NIOS Result 2018 was announced on December 06, 2017. So, the candidates may get their results in the first week of December 2018. There is no official confirmation available for the result declaration. But as per the previous year’s result release date, the candidates may obtain it within a week.
To check the NIOS October Result 2018 for Class 10 & 12, the students can visit the official website i.e. nios.ac.in. There, the students will get the tab named “Results”. Click on that tab and then the list of the different results will appear released by NIOS. Search for the correct result and click on it. After that, candidates will be redirected to a new page. On that page, the students will have to submit the credentials such as the roll number and captcha. Remind that the roll number must be correct and should be the same as present on the admit card. In this way, the students will be able to see their results. It will be available in the pdf format.
Apart from the official website, the candidates can also check the result through the SMS. To get the result in this way, the students will have to send the roll number to a given number by the NIOS.

On the result, the students will be able to see the various information about them and also regarding the exam. Thus, the candidates will get the details on the result such as the name of the candidates, enrollment number, registration number, the roll number, parent’s name, date of birth, the code of the subjects, subject name, marks in the subjects, overall marks, the percentage of marks, total obtained marks, the status of the result, and other important information etc.
The candidates who will qualify the exams will be able to collect the Provisional Certificate or the Mark Sheet or the Migration-cum-Transfer Certificate from the Accredited Institute (AIs) of NIOS.
The exams were held from October 06 to November 05 for class 10. For class 12th, the exams were conducted from October 08 and ended on November 05, 2018.
The board is well known as NIOS. The full form of the board is the National Institute of Open Schooling. It came into existence in the year 1989. NIOS was developed by the Ministry of Human Resources Development. The board releases the syllabus and curriculum to the affiliated schools. It conducts the board exams for class 10, 12 twice a year. After the completion of the exams, the board declares the result for the same.
