National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has issued hall tickets for Sr. Secondary and Secondary classes practical exam. The practicals are scheduled to be held in the month of March 2018. After that theory papers are in April and May months. NIOS practical hall ticket 2018 can be downloaded roll number wise by enrolled students.
Steps to download NIOS 2018 hall ticket
- Visit nios.ac.in.
- Click on the link that says Hall Ticket/Intimation card for March-April 2018 Practical Examination.
- It takes you to the page where two links are given – one for Sr Secondary, one for Secondary. If you are a Sr. Secondary student then click on first link, if you are a Secondary student then click on second link.
- Now search hall ticket by entering correct roll number.

As per the NIOS 2018 date sheet, practical exams for Sr. Secondary and Secondary classes are from March 15 to 29, 2018. Once practical exams get over, theory exams will start on April 4, 2018, and end on May 26, 2018.
After exam concludes, all the enrolled students will be able to check their board exam results from nios.ac.in. Results of National Institute of Open Schooling April exams usually get announced in the initial days of June. Candidates may look forward to result in May-end or June-beginning.
NIOS is a national board where students can get formal education without attending classes. Its aim has been to promote education to such places where students have been shying away from education for lack of resources. However, its ambit has increased manifolds since several education seekers, from various backgrounds have enrolled in its courses to pursue learning.
Admission at NIOS is hundred percent online. Candidates can either register online directly, or they can visit nearest study centre / facilitation centre and take help for online registration, or visit regional centre for online registration. To enroll in its secondary course, candidate should be class VIII passed having certificate of class viii passed, or self certificate (as mentioned atthe back of admission form). For Senior secondary courses, candidate should have copy of the certificate of the secondary examination passed from a recognized board of secondary education duly attested by a gazetted officer.
Recently, NIOS and its students have been embroiled in NEET 2018 controversy wherein MCI prohibited NIOS students, as well as all other open school students from appearing in the largest medical entrance exam in India. Delhi High Court’s interim relief has now allowed them to apply. However final hearing is in April.
