Candidates are now searching for the NIOS Result 2018 for class 10 October exams. As per the latest news, the National Institute of Open Schooling would release the NIOS 10th October Result 2018 tomorrow i.e. on December 15, 2018. There is no official notice available for the result yet. But it is expected to be released on the specified date.
Last year, the NIOS Result for class 10 was announced on December 06, 2017. So, initially, NIOS 10th October Result 2018 was expected to be declared in the first week of December 2018. Then it was thought to be announced on Thursday. But the NIOS Board did not release the result on that date.
Candidates will be able to obtain the NIOS Result 2018 for class 10 online on the official website i.e. on nios.ac.in. On the homepage, the candidates will get the tab named “Results”. Click on the tab and then the list of the various results will appear. Then the candidates need to click on the relevant link. After clicking on the link, a new page will appear. Then on that page, the candidates will have to submit the enrollment number. After submitting the details, the result will appear.
The board exams for October session were held from October 08 to November 05, 2018. Candidates will now be able to get the results.
For the last year’s exams, around 3,50,000 candidates took part. Out of the total appeared candidates, 59.21% were passed. Considering the performance of the boys and girls, the girls outshined the boys. The pass percentage of the girls was 60.91% while the boys had a 58.44% pass percentage.
Along with class 10, the NIOS Board will also declare the result for class 12 for the October session. It is expected to be announced on the same date as class 10. The process is also the same to check the result. But the link to find the result for both classes will be separated.
The organization which provides the open schooling to the students of the various state students is NIOS. The full name of the board is The National Institute of Open Schooling. The board was established in 1989. The Ministry of Human Resources Development established NIOS. It offers the education at the national level. So, the candidates who can not attend the regular classes or have a gap in education can get the education through NIOS.
