NIELIT Hiring 40 Data Entry Operators, 12th pass Can Apply Before Sept 16, Details Here!

NIELIT Chandigarh is hiring 12th pass candidates with excellent typing speed of 30 correct words per minute for the post of Data entry Operator.

National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology, Chandigarh is conducting a recruitment process to fill up the vacant posts of Data Entry Operator. An official recruitment notice in this regard has been uploaded on the website lately, nielti.gov.in/chandigarh. In total 40 vacancies are out for DEO post. Online registrations for the said post has already started from September 10, 2020, onwards. Aspirants who are interested in the recruitment can submit their applications before September 16, 2020.

The recruitment for the post of Data Entry Operator is announced for NIELIT Chandigarh Rupnagar Campus. The said post is on contractual basis. As per the notification, the contract will be initially up to December 31, 2020. Those who are recruited under this post receives Rs. 11000/- as their monthly salary.

Before aspirants start to submit their form, they must go through the eligibility criteria to know whether they are eligible or not. Candidates who have passed their 12th standard are eligible to send their applications for DEO post. They must not exceed the upper age limit of 35 years while applying. Moreover, aspirants should have a typing speed of 30 correct words per minute.

NIELIT accepts applications only through online mode. Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria can submit their form online by visiting nielit.gov.in/chandigarh. On landing on the home page, search for the ‘recruitment’ tab. Before submitting the form, ensure that all the details are entered correctly. Also, candidates have to pay a non-refundable applications fee of Rs. 500/- through online mode. Whereas, SC/ ST/ Person with disability and women candidates have to pay Rs. 250/- as the applications fee.

While filling the form, aspirants must keep certain documents ready with them. These documents include caste certificate, category certificate, 10th pass certificate as the date of birth proof, degree certificate. Other than this, aspirants also have keep attested copies of PAN card, Aadhar card and the first page of the passbook where candidate’s name, address and bank particulars including IFSC code is visible. All these documents along with the filled applications form should be submitted at the time of typing test.

To get selected as a Data Entry Operator in NIELIT, candidates have to qualify the accuracy and typing test. The tentative date for the typing test will be intimated to candidates within 07 days from the last date of applying. However, the confirmed date will be out on the website depending on the COVID-19 pandemic situations. The merit list is based on the accuracy and typing speed of the candidates. Selected candidates have to produce the original documents for the checking at any point during the recruitment.
