National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited is inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill up the vacant posts of Trainee Officer and Trainee Engineer. The official notification for the same with Advertisement No: NH/Rectt. /01/ 2020 can be downloaded from NHPC website, nhpcindia.com. A total of 86 vacancies are out for the Trainee Officer/Engineer posts. Online registrations for NHPC recruitment starts from August 29, 2020 onwards. Candidates have to submit NHPC application form on or before the last date, September 28, 2020.
Out of the total 86 vacancies, 30 are announced for Trainee Engineer (Civil), 21 vacancies are for Trainee Engineer (Mechanical), 05 vacancies for Trainee Officer (HR), 08 vacancies for Trainee Officer (Law) and 22 vacancies for Trainee Officer (Finance). Candidates who qualify for these vacancies receive Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,60,000/- as a monthly salary.
The recruitment for Trainee Officer and Engineer is through GATE-2020, UGC NET–JUNE 2020, CLAT 2020 (for PG) & CA/CMA Score. A Bachelors degree in Engineering/ Technology/ B. Sc (Engineering) is concerned discipline is required to apply for Trainee Engineer (Civil/ Mechanical). To apply for Trainee Officer (HR) candidates must possess two years post-graduation degree/ post-graduate diploma/ post-graduate program in management with specialization in Human Resources. Those who have a graduate degree in law professional with a minimum of 60% marks can apply for Trainee Officer (Law). Candidates who have a graduate degree with CA / ICWA or CMA are eligible for Trainee Officer (Finance). Their age should not exceed the prescribed upper age limit of 30 years while applying. Age relaxation to SC/ ST/ OBC (Non-creamy), PwBD, the domicile of Jammu and Kashmir is permissible. Go through the official notification for information regarding age relaxation and reservation.
To apply for the said posts, candidates have to register themselves through nhpcindia.com. GATE 2020 registration number, CLAT 2020 registration number, UGC NETJune 2020, CA/ CMA score/certificate is required for successful registration. Also, scanned copies of 10th pass certificate, complete mark sheets and certificate of educational qualification, caste certificate, disability certificate copy of GATE 2020 admit card/ registration form should be submitted. After successful submission, take a print out of the registration slip. Applicants are advised not to send hard copies of the form or any other document to the conducting body’s office.
The selection procedure for each post comprises of different criteria. For selection under Traine Engineer Civil and Mechanical, GATE 2020 marks are taken under consideration. Shortlisting for Trainee Officer (HR) includes the marks for the UGC NET of June 2020. similarly, for the selection of Trainee Officer (Law) CLAT 2020 marks and CA/ CMA marks are used for Trainee Officer (Finance).
