ICAR- Indian Agricultural Research Institute is organizing an online interview for the recruitment of the Senior Research Fellow (SRF). The official notification in this regard is released on iari.res.in. As per the notice, only one post is out for the said recruitment. Aspirants interested in the recruitment can apply by submitting the form on or before September 07, 2020. After the screening of the application form, candidates will be invited for the online interview that is scheduled to be held on September 14, 2020.
The post of Senior Research Fellow is announced under the project titled “Development of high density linkage map and tagging salinity tolerance in lentil using genotyping-by-sequencing approach for improving salt tolerance”. The newly appointed SRF are recruited under PI Dr Dharmendra Singh. His email address is [email protected]. While working under the project, aspirants also get monthly remuneration of Rs. 31,000 plus HRA.
Before candidates apply for the post, they must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria as prescribed. A post-graduation degree in basic science is required to apply for SRF post. Those who possess graduate/ post-graduate degree in professional courses are also eligible to apply. The professional courses include the examination of National Eligibility Test CSIR-UGC-NET comprising the Lectureship and GATE. Candidates who possess JRP qualification with 02 years of research experience are eligible. Working experience in molecular markers and proficiency in computer skills is required for Senior Research Fellow post. Moreover, aspirant’s age must not exceed the upper age limit of 35 years. Candidates have to click on the announcements tab > contractual jobs > Senior Research Fellow (SRF) link to get the application form. The completed application form should be submitted via email –[email protected]. With the application form, candidates have to compulsorily submit all the certificates and documents in support of educational qualification, date of birth certificate, NET/ equivalent certificate, recent passport size photograph, proof of experience and publications. These documents are scanned and then sent to the prescribed email address.
The interview for SRF recruitment is conducted online. The details for the same will be communicated to eligible candidates by email. For the interview, aspirants have to report with the original documents for the verification. The posts are completely on a temporary basis. The final appointment letter under this recruitment will remain in effect up to March 31, 2021. The service period may get extended depending on the administrative decision.
