Chennai Metro Rail Limited is inviting offline applications from eligible and interested candidates to fill up a vacancy for the post of Assistant Manager/Dy. Manager/Manager in the Finance & Accounts Department. Recruitment to fill up the vacancy is to be done on a contractual basis. As per the official recruitment notice, there is a single vacancy for the post of Assistant Manager/Dy. Manager/Manager in Finance & Accounts. The vacancy is under the Chennai Metro Rail Project and is contractual in nature. Selected candidates are to be appointed for a contract period of 02 years under the project. Candidates recruited to the aforementioned post are entitled to receive a fixed consolidated monthly pay of Rs 40,000 to Rs 80,000 per month. The post to which a candidate is appointed is determined on the basis of experience and performance in the interview.
Candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility conditions in order to apply for the recruitment. The maximum age of the applicants must be within 38 years. Candidates having CA qualification who are members of ICAI are also eligible to apply given they have at least 2 to 7 years of experience at the executive level in Finance and Accounts department. It is necessary for applicants to have knowledge and experience in Accounting, MIS, Indirect Taxes and Direct Taxes.
Eligible applicants are to be selected on the basis of a two-stage process. The first stage is the interview followed by a Medical Examination. Candidates are to be evaluated on the basis of knowledge, skills, comprehension, attitude, aptitude and physical fitness. Candidates will be required to bear the expenses of the medical examination if they fail to attend the exam for the first time and seek an extension in joining. It is mandatory to pass the medical test.
A non-refundable fee of Rs 300 must be paid to apply for the recruitment. SC/ST candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 50. The fee must be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favour of M/S Chennai Metro Rail Limited, payable at Chennai. At the back of the DD, name, postcode and mobile number must be clearly mentioned. Physically disabled candidates are not required to pay any application fee.
