National Highway Authority of India has published a recruitment notification for the post of Chief General Manager (Technical). Total 03 vacancies are announced for this recruitment. Online registration for the said post starts from July 25, 2020, onwards. Applications from civil engineers are invited before August 24, 2020, by 06:00 PM. The print of the application form along with the requisite documents should reach the concerned parent department on or before September 07, 2020. The announced post of Chief General Manager (Technical) is a Group A post. Selection of this post is based on “search-cum-selection committee by deputation” basis. Those who are shortlisted for this post receives Rs.37,400 – Rs. 67,000/- with grade pay of Rs.10,000/-.
To apply, candidates must have completed their degree in Civil Engineering. In addition, candidates must have completed 17 years of service in Group A out of which 10 years’ in should be completed in Infrastructure Sectors related to Highways, Roads and Bridges. Candidate’s age must not exceed that of 56 years as on the last date of the application process. Applicants can only submit their forms online. They must visit the official website of NHAI, nhai.gov.in, to get the active link for an application form. Candidates can access the activated link under About us > Vacancies > Current. Click on the relevant recruitment notification and “online application” link. Before registration, the candidate must have a personal email ID. Using the same, the aspirant can successfully register themselves and get an auto-generated User ID and password. Candidates have to upload a scanned copy of colour passport size photograph, educational and professional qualifications and their relevant documents. The filled-in application form and all other recruitment information will be sent to the candidate’s registered email ID.
After final submission, generate a PDF file of the filled in the application form. Aspirants have to take a printout of the application form and forward the same to the parent department. Along with the form, attach a ‘verification certificate’ and certifies copies of APARs/ACRs. Enclose attested copies of Annual Confidential Reports / Annual Performance Appraisal Report of last five years, vigilance clearance certificate, educational certificate, experience certificate and other relevant certificates.
